Manchester City manager Roberto Mancini has admitted that his side must beat Arsenalat the Emirates Stadium on Sunday if their dreams of lifting the Premier League title are to stay intact.

The Etihad Stadium outfit are currently five points behind champions and league leadersManchester United, and with the Red Devils potentially opening up an eight point gap against QPR this weekend, the Italian coach knows his men must get three points also.

“If we lose at Arsenal and United beat QPR, yes,” Mancini admitted to reporters when asked if the title race could end this weekend, covered by Sky Sports.

“In my opinion the championship is not finished. Why not? It’s possible.

“If they win all their games, congratulations, they deserve the title.

“I think maybe at the moment some don’t believe because it’s difficult. But in football you can always believe.

“It’s important we go for an away win at Arsenal and win the derby. I think in six games they can lose other points,” he concluded

Meanwhile, it has been confirmed that striker Mario Balotelli is not hurt, after being involved in a car crash on Thursday.

The Italy international’s Bentley collided with another car in Manchester city centre, but the forward escaped injuries.
