After losing yet another crucial Premier League match, this time to their arch rivals Manchester United, Manchester City may be looking to replace their manager, Manuel Pellegrini.

It appeared likely that Pellegrini would survive this catastrophic dip in form that has taken place over the last few months due to a lack of other prominent options at the head coaching position for City to seriously consider.

However, with the news that Borussia Dortmund boss Jurgen Klopp is leaving the club at the end of the season, City is likely to inquire about his interest in heading a club in the Premier League.

City’s recent stumble has been an eye-opener. They have appeared old, lazy, and uninterested. The ladder is a direct reflection on the coach. Many City fans are calling for a change in direction at the manager position, and Klopp would be an ideal candidate to take over for Pellegrini.

He is young, energetic, and driven. With City looking to become a younger team in the offseason, Klopp would be the perfect man to run the ship.

The news on Wednesday that Klopp is leaving the German club came as a big surprise to everyone. Manchester City are surely going to be interested, it will just be a matter of whether or not Klopp is interested in City.
