Will This City Star Be On The Move?

After a 2015 campaign full of turmoil, Manchester City are actively shopping their star midfielder, YaYa Toure.

A disapointing season has forced City to come to grips with the realization that they must get younger to compete.

While Toure has proven to be one of the best players for City in recent years, the Blues need to aquire some youthful energy and the 31-year-old Toure is not exactly a young spring chicken anymore.

City have made their intentions of dealing Toure known. They are currently listening to offers from teams who are interested in Toure. Inter Milan appear to be the most interested in the Ivorian’s service.

However, City won’t transfer Toure for anything less than his current two year, £220,000-per-week deal, and it is unlikely that Inter can come up with that amount of cash. Inter is reportedly ready to offer Toure a five year deal, with the added years acting as compensation for an inevitable pay-cut, should he sign with them.

Unfortunately for Inter, there’s news that Toure won’t cooperate with City in their attempt to rid him from Ethiad Stadium. Toure is apparently content with staying with City and has no plans of leaving this summer, which would all but foil Inter’s chances of getting him.
