Man City to release Edin Dzeko

It looks as though Manchester City forward Edin Dzeko will be offloaded in the summer, according to the Daily Mail.

The City forward has been linked with a move to both Juventus and Real Madrid, with the likes of Arsenal and Liverpool said to be interested too.

The Manchester City boss Roberto Mancini has admitted that he is ready to listen to right offers from other clubs, after he noted the player’s frustration of limited game time at the club.

Reports suggest that Jose Mourinho is a big fan of the 26-year-old, and with Gonzalo Higuain ‘s future uncertain at Real Madrid that could pave the way for a potential move for Dzeko in the summer.

Dzeko made his big money move to Manchester City from Bundesliga club Wolfsburg in 2011 for £32.5 million, a Bundesliga record, and has scored 24 goals in 51 games for the Citizens.
