Carlos TevezCarlos Tevez has returned to England and attended Manchester City’s training ground to meet with a club doctor on Tuesday night, as the striker looks set to return to action for the Premier League side, Sky Sports reports.

The Argentina international has been on unauthorised leave for three months back in his homeland, as he tries to manufacture a move away from the Etihad Stadium.

A deal to take Tevez to AC Milan, Inter or Paris Saint-Germain failed to materialise during the January transfer window, as financially a fee between the English top flight leaders and the player’s suitors could not be reached.

The South American spoke in an interview yesterday of how he felt that he had been ‘treated like a dog’, but apologised if the club felt his actions had been out of line.

Roberto Mancini had initially stated that the attacker’s time at the club was over, after he refused to come off the bench against Bayern Munich, but now seems more willing to include Tevez in his plans for the remainder of the campaign.

It remains to be seen whether Tevez will return to team training or not, and there has been no clarification from City whether or not the temperamental frontman is being considered for first-team selection.
